Für alle, die ganz neu mit einsteigen: vier Tage lang (von Donnerstag bis Sonntag) wird Halle zum Treff- und Austauschpunkt für Jongleur:innen, Akrobat:innen, Balanceur:innen, Diabolo-, Devilstick- und Poispieler:innen von überall. Zuschauen und Inspiration holen ist absolut OK, die Convention lebt aber vom Mitmachen und Ausprobieren. Es ist gut, wenn du dein eigenes Material dabei hast, ein wenig gibt es aber auch vor Ort und vieles kannst du dir auf freundliche Nachfrage auch von anderen leihen.
Es gibt ein vielfältiges Workshopangebot, was vor Ort ausgehängt wird und von allen erweitert werden kann und soll!

ENGLISH LANGUAGE

INIS OÍRR JUGGLING CONVENTION is a weekend of juggling, workshops, games, and a show - in Irish.
Attendees are encouraged to use their cúpla focal while practising their juggling. Seasoned professionals, enthusiasts, amateurs, and those looking to give juggling a go are encouraged to attend. The aim is to host a juggling convention though Irish. Hall TBC!
There will be beginners' Juggling and Irish workshops Friday and Saturday, and games for all on Sunday. There will be a juggling gala on Inis Oírr Saturday the 7th of September.

This is a space to practice juggling and the Irish language, even if you don't have much of either. If you are thinking about it, join us!

We recommend using public transport to get to the convention if possible! Therefore, you will likely be arriving in Galway City via bus (CityLink/GoBus) or Rail. If driving, there are departures from Ros a Mhíl Ferryport to Inis Oírr on Fridays at 10:30 and 18:30, which you can book on their own and pay for parking with your car at Ros a Mhíl (€5/day).

An enterprising person could get a bus and ferry to Inis Oírr Friday (Aran Island Ferries), a ferry to Inis Mór (Doolin ferries) Sunday/Monday, and the ferry back to Galway city via the Cliffs of Moher (Aran Island Ferries) - but be careful of overcomplicating it for yourself.

Was ist die Schweizer Jonglierconvention?

Die Schweizer Jonglierconvention ist ein Wochenende andem sich Jonglage, FlowArts, Artistik und Zirkusbegeisterte Menschen treffen. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos und jeder ist herzlich willkommen ob nur zum schauen und staunen oder auch zum lernen, unterrichten und performen. Die Convention ist dabei als Ort des Vergnügens, des Kennenlernens und des gemütlichen Beisammenseins gedacht. Ebenfalls findet das Businessmeeting des Schweizer Jongliervereins jeweils am Sonntag statt.

FluggleBurgh is a 3-day festival for all circus and skill arts hosted by Pittsburgh's juggling, acro, unicycling, and flow arts community. It will be held again at the Kingsley Center in the East End neighborhood of Pittsburgh. FluggleBurgh will provides a communal practice space with tall ceilings, numerous classrooms with scheduled workshops all weekend, outdoor practice and fire space (weather permitting), object manipulation games/competition, and shows. All walks of object manipulation, movement, and circus arts are welcome.

Flowburger is a 42 hour juggling and flow arts retreat, and an experiment in minimalist flow events. There will be porto potties, music, and a space to use for practice, learning and connecting with friends.

This year we are experimenting with something closer to a "pay what you can" model. Tickets will be $10 minimum with a $25+ suggested payment if you can afford it.

Come celebrate the end of summer and kick off the fall season with your flowmies! Friday night and all of Saturday! There will be tunes, a group meal, open stage, games, friends to share the experience with and more!

What's JJF?

Japan Juggling Festival (JJF) is the largest juggling convention in Japan organised by Japan Juggling Association.

JJF is an annual festival exclusively for jugglers, organised by jugglers. It brings together juggling enthusiasts of all levels - from beginners to amateurs and professionals - in one place to enjoy juggling as an art, sport, and recreational activity from various angles.

Among other highlights, the Championship and Guest Stage are the main attractions at JJF. The annual Championship determines the best juggling performance in Japan, while the Guest Stage features spectacular acts by renowned jugglers from both Japan and abroad.

In addition, last year included extra events such as "Juggling Carnival -All Generations-", a variety juggling show called "Hono-vonoeno," and the "X-Juggling Battle," a tournament-style competition.

Of course you can juggle at JJF!

Join fellow jugglers for practice, pick up new tricks at a variety of workshops, and take part in fun events like endurance challenges. There are countless ways to enjoy juggling to the fullest at JJF!

Fidget Feet are a pint-sized aerial circus company from Ireland. We tell our stories anywhere we can think of; in theatres, from cranes, hidden in forests, or swinging from buildings all over the world. Our performances are for everyone and we love to find new ways of telling our stories to new people. Since 2004 Fidget Feet has performed across five continents and to hundreds of thousands of people in some of the biggest festivals and venues across the globe. In addition to creating work, Fidget Feet is a strong advocate for the development of aerial work in Ireland.

Important Information
Please be careful to choose classes appropriate to your levels of experience and fitness. Once the IADF starts it is much harder to change classes. (You can freely edit your classes as much as you want up until the festival starts.)
Spread your classes, out leaving plenty of time to rest and make sure your respect the limits of your body. For instance, don’t book a string of classes in a row that work only your upper-arms. By the end of the second class you may find you can’t do any more.
If you can do some preparation work in a gym prior to the IADF you will get much more out of the fest, and your body will thank you for it.
Allow enough time to travel between class locations. It can take 20 minutes to walk between some venues.
If you have a Yoga mat, side-harness or sit-harness please bring it with you.
Bring warm clothes as some of our venues are quite big and can get cold. Also summer is no guarantee, it can be cold and windy.
Bring wet gear. This is Ireland. Also sunblock. It does happen.
Consider food and snacks. You’ll need to keep your energy up between classes. There aren’t many food places near the Aura, but starting in 2017 two aerialists started serving hot meals. Check out their food here.

There’s not much in terms of local public transport within the city centre. Taxis will generally operate for €5-7 within the city.

There’s a Lidl, Aldi and Tesco (and further to Dunnes) all within a 10-15 minute walk from the Accommodation.

Flow In The Forest Flow and Fire Arts Festival is the UK’s first-ever festival designed specifically for the fire and flow arts community. We are pleased to invite you to the Enklawa Festival. Specifically, to its 18th edition (Previously – Festiwal Ognia i Kuglarstwa w Ostródzie), that will be held from 19.08 to 24.08.2025 (Tuesday-Sunday). 🎪 "To Root Directory" – a new contemporary circus show by Room Kids (Tokyo, Japan)
Room Kids, a contemporary circus company based in Tokyo, presents their latest creation, To Root Directory. Known for blending juggling, physical objects, and media art, this performance moves fluidly between abstract props like balls and tangible items like electric fans. Through visual metaphors, it explores themes such as division, information overload, and the continuity between seemingly opposing elements.
The company received the Asian Arts Award Best Show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2021, and this new work continues their spirit of artistic innovation.
The performance is non-verbal and visually expressive—no Japanese required! While there’s no English program, the show speaks through movement and imagery. I (Masa, plate-spinning juggler and Room Kids supporter) will be at the venue and happy to help international visitors.

We will review each application to ensure that participants are motivated by a desire to learn, grow, and explore juggling as an art form, while also being open to creativity, personal growth, and the holistic approach of the retreat. After you apply, we will reach out to discuss your experience and motivation to ensure alignment with the retreat's goals.

Applicants will be notified of their status by February 15th, 2025. After the priority deadline, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until all spots are filled.

Kilpailemassa on mukana sekä hallitseva Suomen mestari, häntä haastamaan saapuu ainakin kaksi aikaisempaa Suomen mestaria ja tietenkin joukko muita voitonnälkäisiä haastajia.

Finnish Diabolo & YOYO & juggling Contest and festival 2025 will take place at a great venue in Eräjärvi, Finland, like it always has. There are two main buildings + sauna by the lake surrounded by a spacious site that includes a campsite and a festival village. The site is conveniently located right in the middle of Eräjärvi village, that has one shop and a pub that is now closed. Train station at Orivesi is at approximately half an car ride from Eräjärvi. This is the place we’ll be happy to pick you up to the festival. Good travel options are to fly to Helsinki, and take a bus from Helsinki airport to Tampere. To top it all off, there is a sauna by a lake within walking distance of the festival site!

Winter is passing is a boutique gathering with a focus on juggling and passing during the day and board games in front of the fire in the evenings. What a better way to spend a weekend in the midst of winter and passing the time with friends new and old with similar interests.
